Gingivitis can easily be treated with just proper oral hygiene. Proper oral hygiene involves professional cleaning at least at least twice a year and daily tooth brushing. A simple tooth brushing everyday can remove those food particles and avoid plaque from building up. But there are lifestyles that can increase the risk of developing gingivitis in a person. One example of this lifestyle that can contribute in developing gingivitis is smoking. People who are smoker are more prone to develop gingivitis because of the nicotine that you can get form smoking. But there are also factor that can cause gingivitis that is unavoidable just like stress. Because stress makes it difficult for your body to produce immune system that fights bad bacteria in our body.
